Kemaren dapet tugas bahasa Inggris, suruh bikin review. Okelah ga ada ujian praktek bahasa, tapi kalo kaya gini apa bedanya coba ? Yah, kebetulan sekali gurunya nyuruhnya tanggal 22. Pas aku baru aja denger BLUE. Hehe kalo secara bahasa ada yang salah tolong dikritik ya . . .

On Wednesday February 22 2012 BIG BANG releases first Movie Video from their 5^th mini album, ALIVE. BIG BANG is boy band from South Korea which debuted in 2006. This Idol group is consist 5 members that is G-Dragon (leader), T.OP, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri. VIP (name of BIG
BANG’s fan) already waiting their new song since 2011 especially after Daesung’s accident scandal and G-Dragon’s marijuana scandal. This song is a huge hit because not until a hour this song become Most Viewed in You Tube and holding all charts in Korea such as MNet , Olleh , Monkey , Soribada , Bugs , and Melon.

I find it interesting that YG Entertainment is leading their comebacks with ballads. Having been known as the leaders of hip-hop style of K-pop, YG is making very different moves, transitioning into more of an electro-pop, a style that is worked really well for them as a company and for the musicality of their artists.

Big Bang is the best example of this musical growth, as they have literally shed their hip-hop skin for a more commercial identity. It is not a bad thing, it is just an interesting phenomenon to see how they have evolved over the years. I’m kind of excited.

This song is composed by G-Dragon and his senior, Teddy. Like usual, G-Dragon use his genius gen to composed this song. With Teddy, ‘Blue’ really make the listeners enjoy the song. Like common blues songs, the song is telling us a story of inanition and yearning. The lyric is breaking mind all members. Seasons are change, winter to spring. The heart that bruised for long time had recovered.

G-Dragon explained a couple which is in dangerous situation like melodrama in his lyrics. The boy leaves the girl and sent a letter which no name. He is aware that he is coward. But, he did that because he thought he is not good enough. In the other side, Daesung tell us about someone who fall in love to die. He said that even with his closed eyed, he can feel her.

I think what Daesung said was true. “‘Blue Sky’ gives us a good feeling but our ‘BLUE’, more like blue sorrow. The song symbolizes the longing, heartache, suffering, and the equivalent.” Blue is an apology song. Big Bang is back with a fresh start, new (spring) after the rest period (winter). The things that happened in 2011 made ​​the Big Bang are tired and injured, but they are ready to sing his grief again. Blues means the VIPs, as well as a song dedicated for VIPs. Sadness and tears means of VIP’s sadness and tears caused by the Big Bang.

At February 27 2012 their Movie Video had been watched 9,063,603 times, 135280 people like this video and 3802 dislike, get Recently Most Popular Gold Medal and get Trending Gold Medal in You Tube.  Big Bang is the first artist in 2012 which get Perfect Allkill.

A regular Allkill is when a song achieves #1 Daily Ranking on the seven major Digital Music Sites in Korea (Soribada, Dosirak, Melon, Mnet, Naver, Daum, Cyworld, Bugs except Monkey3). Perfect Allkill includes streaming status (like mobile ringtones and caller ringtones) proving the success and popularity of the song further. "Blue" proved more popular in many countries through the iTunes charts.

Big Bang album has 250.000 copies in pre-order. More than that, Big Bang makes YG Entertainment’ stock price double increase. Amazing right ?
